News Year 8 visit Hampton Court Palace 27.03.2024

Last Friday Year 8 visited Hampton Court Palace to augment their studies of Early Modern England.

Pupils took part in education sessions run by palace staff, including examining Global Perspectives in the Tudor period. The sessions were really illuminating and very much enjoyed by all. Despite it being a wet day, we were able to tour the palace and gardens, viewing the Great Hall and even the Tudor kitchens. They were also able to identify many examples of the palace being used as a symbol of Tudor power and authority.
