News Working Lunch: Old Dolphin Maira Bana 21.03.2025

Following last week’s STEM Week celebrations, students had the opportunity to attend a special Working Lunch on Thursday with Old Dolphin Maira Bana (Class of 2008). Maira, Head of Computational Engineering at RED Engineering Design Ltd, is also the Co-founder and Trustee of SheCanEngineer, a UK-based diversity, equity, and inclusion charity.

During the session, Maira provided valuable insights into the engineering industry, discussed her career path, and offered expert guidance on pursuing STEM careers. Her talk was both inspiring and informative, emphasising the importance of diversity within the field.
