News Winter Jam 2024 21.11.2024

The Winter Jam took place on Monday night, drawing a packed crowd of parents and performers to the Hall. The lighting, table arrangements, and refreshments created an atmosphere worthy of a professional venue.

The students’ professionalism during the Jams was remarkable, with every soloist, duo, and band delivering outstanding performances. The programme was diverse, featuring covers alongside two original songs by Elise and Maya, both of which were so polished they could have been professional tracks. Parents and staff shared numerous appreciative comments, expressing their amazement at the talent on display.

The evening concluded with a fantastic debut performance by the Year 7 Choir, who sang Oasis’s ‘Let There Be Love’. Their performance was accompanied by Bea on electric guitar and featured a vocal solo by Dhiya. Having experienced their first Jam, we hope that Year 7 students will feel inspired to participate in the Spring Jam next term.

Special thanks were extended to Olivia for her exceptional support in accompanying many of the soloists, as well as delivering her own solo, and to Mr Smith for his invaluable assistance with sound. Anticipation is already building for the Spring Jam next term!
