News Getting the Inside Track on the US College Application Process 24.02.2022

On Wednesday, our current Upper Sixth who applied to US colleges and universities this year shared the highlights of their application process with the Lower Sixth. The topics discussed ranged from researching best fit colleges and writing the personal essay to pursuing areas of interest beyond the classroom and building a strong extracurricular profile.

It was a wonderful opportunity for the group of Lower Sixth US applicants to hear from and to ask questions to the Upper Sixth who have just been through the application process. The students left feeling motivated and inspired by the discussions they had about how to plan for the next steps.

Next term, as part of the Higher Education Preparation Programme, Mrs Antebi will be running a series of meetings for the Lower Sixth students interested in studying in the US, sharing detailed information and advice about the different application requirements.
