News Top 20 All-Girls School for Cricket 16.11.2022

The UK’s best schools for cricket have been revealed in The Cricketer’s Schools Guide 2023 and Godolphin and Latymer is once again one of the top 20 all-girls schools. Entries were judged against an extensive set of criteria, which included a compelling commitment to cricket in the curriculum, facilities, fixture programmes and coaching. The Cricketer gathered entries and compiled the leading lists, consulting former England star Lydia Greenway and her coaching initiative Cricket For Girls to select the top 20 all-girls schools.

Last season saw Godolphin field nine teams across all age groups and they played a host of fixtures and tournaments. Our U12s were runners up at the London Schools’ tournament in January and built on their success and were crowned champions by the end of the season. Our U13s won the Lady Taverner’s county finals and our U15 team played in both the Lady Taverner and School Sport magazine T20 hard ball competitions.
