News The English Reformation with Professor Peter Marshall 14.03.2024

Last Friday Lower Sixth Early Modern historians attended a lecture on the English Reformation from Professor Peter Marshall at Latymer Upper School.

Professo Marshall is based at Warwick University and is an expert in the English Reformation which is a main topic of study on the A Level course. He challenged us to think about how we define reformation, how that term is used and the extent and course of the reformation in England. It was thoroughly enjoyed by all, and his latest book has joined our Library collection.
