News Higher Education Event: Academic Conversation 28.02.2020

Monday afternoon saw the inauguration of an exciting new Higher Education event for the Lower Sixth: ‘The Art of Academic Conversation’.

Held in the stunning Vogue House Boardroom in Hanover Square, Sixth Formers engaged in individual conversations with a number of leading academics from a range of backgrounds. There was the purposeful buzz of academic conversation, with the topics being discussed ranging from the development of liquefied natural gas distribution equipment, to how best to market new fashion lines to emerging markets. The speakers included Professors from leading universities, including Oxford and Imperial College London, as well as a number of successful Old Dolphins.

By the close, both students and delegates left feeling academically stimulated and enriched, with many conversations continuing out onto the streets.
