News Successful Applications to UK and US Universities and Colleges 28.02.2020
Over the last few weeks the Upper Sixth girls have continued to receive offers of places at Russell Group universities for an array of competitive courses. These include offers from Oxford and Cambridge to study a range of subjects including Archaeology and Ancient History, Biology, Chemistry, Classics and Oriental Studies, Computer Science, Economics and Management, English Literature, Geography, History, History and French, History and German, History of Art, HSPS, Medicine, Psychology, Theology and Veterinary Medicine. The number of students receiving offers from Oxbridge remains strong and is in line with previous years.
Other Russell Group and Scottish Universities will continue to make their offers over the coming weeks.
Congratulations also go to our students who made successful early applications to US colleges for September 2020 entry. They have received early acceptances from a number of top US institutions, including Brown University, Duke University, Georgetown University, New York University, St John’s College, University of Chicago, University of Michigan, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, University of Virginia, University of Wisconsin-Madison, Wesleyan University and Yale University. We are very proud of our girls, especially in the context of the Early Action/Early Decision admit rates hitting an all-time low this year at many of the most competitive colleges. The Regular Decision outcomes for our other US applicants will be released by the end of March.
