News Spring Jam 2025 20.03.2025

The Music department hosted the Spring Jam, showcasing Godolphin’s musical talent in solo, duet and group form in a number of styles – from pop to jazz to rock.

This term’s showcase was particularly exciting as it welcomed many first-time performers, including enthusiastic Year 7 students and the newly formed Year 10 band, Brainstorm. The Bishop Centre was transformed into a true concert venue, complete with professional-grade lighting and sound, thanks to the expertise of Mr. Smith. The audience responded with enthusiasm, enjoying a mix of well-known songs as well as two original compositions. Despite the inevitable live music challenges — including a snapped guitar string — students remained poised and professional, delivering an unforgettable evening of entertainment.

With the success of Spring Jam, anticipation is already building for Summer Jam, which promises to spotlight even more of Godolphin’s talented drummers.
