News Senior House Music Festival 2020 16.10.2020

On Thursday, the Music department held their first live event of the year – the Senior House Music Festival. The categories this year were piano solo class, vocal solo class and instrumental solo class. Girls from Year 11 to the Upper Sixth competed for House points with performances ranging from Handel to Sam Smith to Gershwin. Miss McAdam and Miss Reid adjudicated and were incredibly impressed with all of the girls’ playing. 

A special thank you to Mrs McNally-Cross who organised the tech side of the event and to Charlie Andrews who accompanied pieces throughout the day. There will be a video released after half term which will show some highlights from the event.
