News Senior Chamber Choir Sing Choral Evensong at St Paul’s Cathedral 03.10.2024

On Monday evening, the Senior Chamber Choir had the fantastic opportunity to sing evensong in front of a congregation of around 700 people in the beautiful setting of St Paul’s Cathedral.

The choir sang a set of responses by Darlington, Will Todd’s upbeat ‘Gloria in Excelsis’, and Kerensa Briggs’s ‘Windsor Service’. The latter was written for Godolphin and Latymer’s Chamber Choirs in 2019, and we were absolutely delighted that the composer herself was able to join us for our rehearsal and the evensong itself.

The choir were in fine voice, and sang absolutely superbly – this was truly an evensong to be proud of. Bravo to all involved!
