News School Diversity Week 2022 23.06.2022

Coinciding with Pride Month, the student-led Gay/Straight Alliance and Diversity Committee organised a number of events to celebrate LGBTQ+ equality for School Diversity Week.

On Monday, students took part in a pride flag painting activity and the results have been displayed in the corridors for everyone to see. On Thursday, there was much excitement as students baked a pride cake (complete with a rainbow centre and decorated in pride flags) which was deemed delicious by our very own expert baker Mrs Newell, before being shared amongst students. The school library has curated a wonderful display of LGBTQ+ books which have been flying off the shelves.
