News Remembrance Assembly 14.11.2024
On Monday, the whole school came together for a solemn assembly to commemorate Remembrance Day, honouring those who have lost their lives in war.
The assembly highlighted not only the sacrifices made by soldiers on the front lines but also shone a light on overlooked individuals who played crucial roles in both the First and Second World Wars. The assembly paid tribute to the contributions of unsung heroes whose efforts were vital but often less celebrated. The observance culminated in a moving rendition of ‘The Last Post’, performed by Lower Sixth student Bea, adding a powerful and emotional close to the assembly.
Through this gathering, the school community reflected on the legacy of courage and sacrifice, ensuring that all who served are remembered with respect and gratitude.
