News Professor Richard Rex Lecture 24.11.2022
Last week, early modern Sixth Form historians visited Latymer Upper School to listen to a lecture from Richard Rex, Professor of Reformation History at Queens’ College, Cambridge.
Alongside students from Latymer Upper and our partner school, West London Free School, our Sixth Form students learnt about the religious policies and reforms of Henry VIII. Professor Rex, the author of multiple books on Tudor history and theology in the Tudor period, provided valuable insight into how religious reform impacted people’s lives in the sixteenth century leaving students brimming with questions.
Thank you to Latymer for hosting us and to Professor Rex for the fascinating talk.
