News Old Dolphins’ Day 03.10.2022

On Saturday 24 September we had the pleasure of welcoming former pupils back to the school for our annual Old Dolphins’ Day. It was a happy reunion of old friends spanning the generations. The most senior Old Dolphins present, Joy and Pamela, had left the school in 1947! At the other end of the scale, it was exciting to welcome back about 50 younger ODs who had left in 2017 and were therefore celebrating the fifth anniversary of their leaving. Our alumnae were interested to hear about the plans for the new building as well as visiting still familiar haunts around the site. Many of our Old Dolphins attended the school while it was still a grammar school and are enthusiastic supporters of our bursary programme which aims to facilitate wider access to the school.
