News Model United Nations Conference at London Oratory School 28.11.2019
On Saturday, ten members of Godolphin’s Model United Nations Society from Year 11 and the Lower Sixth visited London Oratory School for their annual MUN conference.
It was a friendly and stimulating day of discussion around topics such as the persecution of religious minorities and opium production in Afghanistan. For many of the girls, it was their first conference so it was great to see them getting stuck into lobbying and debate in their committees. The girls also had the chance to hear from Professor Francis Campbell, former Ambassador to the Holy See and Deputy High Commissioner to Pakistan who shared many of his fascinating experiences working in international relations over the years.
Congratulations to Lower Sixth student Maia who won a prize for Commended Delegate representing India in the SPECPOL committee.
