News Mini Model United Nations Conference 12.12.2019

On Tuesday afternoon the whole of Year 11 took part in a mini Model United Nations Conference.

The girls have been preparing for this in Perspectives lessons over the last half term, led by twelve members of the Lower Sixth. It was great to see the enthusiastic participation of many Year 11 who were new to MUN, with more experienced Year 11s taking a leadership role as chairs of committees. Topics discussed included the crisis in Yemen, religious persecution and human trafficking, with the General Assembly focused on the situation in Hong Kong.

The girls showed an impressive understanding of this crisis and willingness to consider it from a variety of perspectives.
