News McGill University Talk 03.11.2023

On Thursday, our Year 11 and Sixth Form students enjoyed a lunchtime talk by the Senior Admissions Officer at McGill University, Ms Karen J’bari.

Ms J’bari explained what makes Montreal one of the most vibrant student cities in the world, home to a mosaic of languages, cultures, and traditions. Our students found out about the research, field study and internship opportunities available to undergraduates across the two campuses, and they were pleased to hear that international students make up about 30% of the student body, coming to McGill from over 150 countries. Ms J’bari also discussed the admissions process and answered questions about the application requirements.

Canada remains a popular destination for our students, and we will continue to host talks by admission representatives to keep our girls informed about the range of options available to them, with the University of Toronto visiting us in the coming days.
