News Lower Sixth Gender Awareness Workshop with Turn of Phrase 11.05.2023

On Tuesday, Lower Sixth students took part in a thought-provoking session which delved into the important subjects of gender equality, feminism, and sexism.

Run by Turn of Phrase, a communications and theatre company, the session aimed to equip students with the tools to be able to express themselves confidently when discussing difficult topics. Topics ranged from recognising healthy and unhealthy relationships; the impact of social media on body image; and the impact of cancel culture on free speech and political discourse.

Students really engaged in the workshop with some lively debates and thoughtful discussions on the topics at hand. Thank you to Turn of Phrase for such a fantastic session.
