News Lower School Production of ‘Beauty and the Beast’ 27.06.2024

This week, the Bishop Centre was transformed into a fairytale French château, complete with iconic singing tableware, for the Lower School Production of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast.

It was wonderful to see our Year 8 and 9 students come together to share this ‘tale as old as time’ with such energy and commitment. Backstage temperatures soared but onstage our young cast did not flag: they navigated the beautiful songs and harmonies, acting, storytelling, choreography and some challenging over-sized costumes with professionalism and skill. It takes a great deal of dedication to bring a musical production together, so a big well done to everyone involved for their hard work, particularly our team of talented student directors.

We have received such wonderful comments from parents, staff and students who came to support the production, and we are immensely proud of all the cast and crew have achieved. Congratulations to all for adding some ‘sparkle’ to the end of the school year!
