News Holocaust Talk and Workshop from Hephzibah Rudofsky 06.06.2024
On Thursday, Year 9 students had the chance to hear from Holocaust education specialist Hephzibah Rudofsky, who spoke about the impact the Holocaust had on her family history.
Hephzibah Rudofsky is the daughter and granddaughter of Holocaust camp survivors and the custodian of a significant archive containing artefacts, letters and documents collected by her mother and grandmother during their incarceration in Westerbork, Bergen-Belsen and Biberach camps. She told her personal family story in the context of historical events during the Second World War, making it very relatable to the pupils who were moved by the story of survival through the artefacts she brought with her.
We thank Hephzibah for sharing her story and for giving students a chance to study her extraordinary archive of artefacts.
