News HEPP Week 2024 13.06.2024

The Lower Sixth were engaged in a series of Higher Education preparation activities last week.

There were a wide variety of university preparation sessions delivered by Godolphin and Latymer staff. Those interested in Medicine were hard at work preparing for UCAT, while Law applicants began their preparation for the LNAT and took part in a Human Rights workshop. US applicants engaged with sessions on the Common Application and Supplementary Essay and there were sessions on making applications to Canada and Europe. We were delighted to welcome the University of Sheffield, who presented on applying to the Russell Group and advised on academic writing. Some pupils chose to take part in mentoring sessions, aimed at developing their communication skills and honing their interview technique. In addition, Ms Graham gave an inspirational talk about the value of a Study Abroad year at university.

Pupils are in a good position to research their higher education options with many planning on attending university open days in the next few weeks.
