News Godolphin’s Half-Term HomeHack 11.06.2020
During half-term, more than 40 of Godolphin’s budding entrepreneurs took part in an online HomeHack course run by 7 Billion Ideas which aims to promote curiosity, creativity and innovation in students. HomeHack takes students from idea to prototype, and from prototype to business plan, covering topics such as team building, pitching, and everything in between. Girls worked on putting together a business plan for their products with everything from the cost of production, marketing materials and even custom pitches for social media.
Millie in Year 11 had this to say on the course:
“HomeHack was a really beneficial course for product development and general entrepreneurial skills development. It provided me with a taste into the process behind designing and marketing a product, as well as understanding how to manage problems by developing a targeted marketing scheme. I would really recommend the course!”
We look forward to seeing the end result of the girls’ hard work.
