News Futures Working Lunches: Andrew Martin 10.03.2023

Today’s Working Lunch was with Godolphin parent Andrew Martin, Vice-President of Martin-Baker Aircraft, the world leader in the design and manufacture of ejection and crashworthy seats.

His ”Engineering For Life’ presentation covered the variety of roles within his industry and gave us a fascinating insight into the production of such intricate and sophisticated products. We also saw some rather terrifying footage of air-crashes where the pilots have been saved by the company’s seats, illustrating how engineering really can make a life-saving impact.
