News Futures Working Lunch: Old Dolphin Annabel Downs 14.02.2025

On Friday, the Higher Education and Careers department held their first Working Lunch of the year with Old Dolphin Annabel Downs (Class of 2007).

Having graduated with an MSci degree in Theoretical Physics from Imperial College London, she joined Goldman Sachs as a trader before moving into Goldman Sachs Asset Management where she is now an Executive Director. Annabel spoke about the different careers at Goldman Sachs and what sort of attributes they look for when they hire graduates. As co-head of the GSAM Women’s Network she also shared her experiences and ambitions for women in finance and asset management.
