News Debating Against Francis Holland School 18.03.2021

Last Thursday, debaters in Years 10 to the Lower Sixth took part in an online fixture against Francis Holland School.

The motion was ‘This house would allow parents who have been sent to prison to raise their children behind bars’. Our speakers gave passionate speeches from both sides of the floor, showing impressive eloquence and quick-thinking in the face of fierce opposition from a very strong team from Francis Holland. Congratulations to the winning team, Jess and Catherine in the Lower Sixth, who excelled in their opening opposition roles.
