News Climate Fresk Workshop 26.09.2024
Over the past couple of weeks, Godolphin students successfully completed their training to become Climate Fresk facilitators. Climate Fresk, a renowned ‘serious game’ grounded in the latest data from the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), helps participants understand the complex factors driving climate change.
The training aimed to deepen the students’ awareness and equip them with the tools to inspire meaningful conversations around climate action. Throughout the sessions, students explored key climate concepts, identified links between human activities and environmental shifts, and examined solutions for reducing carbon footprints.
By completing the Climate Fresk programme, these students are now well-positioned to engage and educate peers, staff, and the wider community. As facilitators, they will have a tangible mechanisms to foster awareness and inspire positive environmental action at both a personal and collective level.
