News Classics Reading Competition at Westminster School 02.03.2023

On Wednesday, three Year 8 students and four Year 10 students went to Westminster School to participate in the Classics Reading Competition.

The three Year 8 students, Alice, Karishma and Victoria, competed in the Beginners’ Latin category. Three of the Year 10 students, Serena, Charlotte and Georgina, competed in the Beginners’ Greek category, with Frida in Year 10 earning a bronze medal for her reading in the Pre-GCSE Latin category. All students did a fantastic job, showing courage and poise throughout. Teachers from other schools noted how impressed they were by the Godolphin performances.

All students enjoyed the day and would be keen to take part in the event next year.
