News Carol Service 2021 17.12.2021

On Tuesday we celebrated Christmas with a traditional Carol Service in the Bishop Centre.

The service, returning for the first time since Covid, featured some beautiful performances from our Junior and Senior Chamber Choirs, Senior Choir, Year 8 and 9 Choir, Sixth Form a capella group The Octaves, as well as our Brass Ensemble, Upper Sixth students Isha and Diane on Violin and Tiffany on Organ. Beginning with a candle-lit procession, and the solo first verse of ‘Once In Royal David’s City’ (sung by Sofia Year 9) the service included a selection of seasonal readings, carols and choral music by Britten, Elgar, Joubert, Adam, Rutter and Leontovych.
