News Careers Discovery Event 2022 24.02.2022

Students in Years 10-Upper Sixth heard from a number of guest speakers from a variety of different of career fields at Wednesday evening’s Careers Discovery Event.

We were very fortunate to have been supported by a fantastic array of Old Dolphins and our parent community who were incredibly generous with their time and wisdom. The range of careers covered was very broad: medicine and dentistry, charity, architecture, corporate and social responsibility, finance, technology, law and the civil service. We were also pleased to be able to showcase creative industries such as film and tv, songwriting and music production as well as games development. It was especially fantastic to be able to offer this as a live event (the first time since the start of the pandemic) and pupils with their parents enthusiastically took the opportunity to engage in career exploration.

Our Working Lunches Careers Programme is well underway with further exciting opportunities for pupils to consider the world of work. Details will be posted to google classroom and students can sign up to join us on Friday lunchtimes for these events.
