News Bridge Summer Sessions 05.09.2024

Toward the end of the summer holidays, we hosted our Bridge Junior students for their first booster week. Keystone Tutors led the sessions with lessons in English, Maths, and Reasoning. Many of the children will soon be sitting the 11+ entrance exams for a wide range of selective schools across London and beyond, and this booster week was excellent preparation to help them perform to the best of their ability.

We also delivered our yearly Bridge Senior workshops during the summer holidays. Around 20 Year 11 girls from various state schools across London participated. The programme was taught by teachers from Godolphin. Mr. Guilleman led a Science lesson – a murder mystery using forensic science. Ms. Lough conducted a poetry workshop, Ms. Ratsma ran a ‘Maths in Action’ workshop, Ms. Whittaker delivered an eye-opening session on linguistics, and Mr. Golland held a humanities session on 21st-century global issues. We will see the Bridge Seniors again this weekend for their final session. They are a thoroughly impressive group, and we greatly appreciated their contributions. A huge thanks to the staff mentioned for giving up their time to teach on the programme.
