News Aventure à Antibes: Year 8 students spend the week exploring the Côte d’Azur 14.06.2024

Last week, sixty Year 8 students had the wonderful opportunity to spend a week in Antibes, France. The trip was packed with exciting activities and cultural experiences in the French Riviera.

Students were based at the Castel Arabel and Aragon residences, situated in a serene area just 750 yards from the beautiful beaches of Juan les Pins. Each morning they attended language lessons before setting off on a variety of excursions and activities in the afternoon. Highlights included visits to the charming towns of Antibes, Nice, and Grasse, where they explored the famous Parfumerie.

Adventures such as Accrobranche (a tree-climbing activity) and paddle boarding/kayaking added an element of excitement to their afternoons. Evenings were filled with fun games and mini-events organized by the residence, including pizza on the beach, ice creams, and cinema screenings.

The trip was a great success, providing the girls with numerous opportunities to practice their French and embrace the local culture. They returned home tired but with fond memories of their time in this beautiful part of France. Merci, les filles, for making it an unforgettable experience!
