News Autumn Concert 2022 18.11.2022

The Bishop Centre played host to the best of the school’s choirs and ensembles performing a wide and varied repertoire of works at our annual Autumn Concert.

A large number of students took part in a programme which featured performances from many of our ensembles ranging from small chamber groups to full symphony orchestras. The repertoire on show was similarly varied with pieces ranging from Mozart’s Il Nozze di Figaro, performed by the Symphony Orchestra, to the Year 7 Choir performing the main theme from The NeverEnding Story. A notable highlight was a Godolphin conducting debut from Sixth Form student Cassie Wigoder, who directed the Concert Band through Katy Perry’s ‘Firework’.

It really was a fabulous evening that celebrated the incredible musical talent that permeates through our school. With thanks to everyone who took part, and our fabulous Music staff for coordinating and organising the concert.
