News Amnesty Café 24.03.2022

This week, the school’s Amnesty Team have been running a series of Amnesty Cafés for students in the Lower and Middle School to find out more about the work of Amnesty International around the world and how we can support that work as a school community. 

The team highlighted several of Amnesty’s campaigns that they feel particularly strongly about, including the campaign to end repression in Colombia and standing with women and girls in Afghanistan, and attendees were told more about how letter writing and petitions can influence political action. Our new Amnesty Team will be stepping into the role soon to continue the work of championing human rights.
