News Senior Music Scholars’ Concert 28.11.2024

Last Friday, the Senior Music Scholars’ Concert brought together the exceptional talents of our Year 11 and Sixth Form Music Scholars. The event featured a number of impressive performances, from solo instrumental and vocal pieces to a memorable ensemble finale.

The audience was treated to a fantastic evening of music with each student demonstrating superb skill and remarkable musicality. The programme featured a diverse and challenging repertoire that showcased our scholars’ versatility, ranging from the timeless works of Mendelssohn and Elgar to contemporary compositions by British composer Cecilia McDowall. The concert concluded with a triumphant performance of Schubert’s ‘Death and the Maiden’ from the Upper Sixth String Quartet of Ella, Youan, Maya, and Imogen.
