News National Champions at the National Schools’ Regatta 2024 06.06.2024

Huge congratulations to our rowers for a fantastic showing at the National Schools’ Regatta.

66 students competed over the course of the weekend, with our J14 octos and J15 quads kicking the action off on the Friday with some great racing. Saturday saw our J15 four clinch bronze in a thrilling A-final, while the J16 four blew away all their opposition in their final to be crowned national champions whilst picking up the prestigious Anna Fangen Cup in the process. On the back of their tremendous form at the regatta, the J16 four have also been invited to trial for the annual Great Britain v France J16 match on Sunday 30 June. Final day highlights for our rowers included some fierce performances from our J16 and J18 crews.

The success in this year’s regatta showcased the dedication and hard work our rowers have put in all year and we couldn’t prouder of them. Next stop: Henley Women’s Regatta in June and Henley Royal Regatta in July!
