News Talk from New York University 24.05.2024

On Thursday, our Lower Sixth students planning to apply to US universities had the opportunity to attend a talk by the Senior Assistant Director of Admissions at New York University, Ms Lisa Mortini.

During the talk, Ms Mortini described the wide range of micro communities created through a diverse spectrum of programmes within the larger NYU community, focusing on the College of Arts and Science, Stern School of Business and Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development. She also answered our students’ questions about the academic and social life on campus as well as the elements which make an application stand out in the highly competitive admission process.

The Lower Sixth are now looking forward to engaging further with their Higher Education preparation activities after half term break when they will have a full timetable of sessions to help them with their applications to universities near and far.
