News Classical Reading Competition at Westminster School 29.02.2024

Three students in Year 8 and four students in Year 11 visited Westminster School for the annual Classical Reading Competition.

All students delivered excellent performances of their Latin/Greek passages and the judges were extremely impressed. Yasmin, Carolina and Heloise won silver medals in the ‘Beginners’ Latin’ category; Charlotte and Serena won bronze medals in the Greek Dialogue category; and Frida won a silver medal in the ‘Open Latin’ category. Livia also read her passage superbly in the ‘Pre-GCSE Latin’ category.

Most impressively, all students showed great courage in performing their passages to a large audience of students and teachers.
