News US Colleges Information Evening 12.10.2023

On Monday evening, we hosted the Admission Directors from five leading US colleges and universities, including Duke, Dartmouth, Georgetown, Northwestern, and Vanderbilt. The Directors gave presentations about their individual institutions, highlighting the unique aspects of their student community and campus life, and they discussed the selective admissions process in the United States while also providing an overview of their financial aid policies and procedures.

It was a very informative and lively event, with 450 students and parents attending from schools near and far. At the end of the session, students had the opportunity to ask questions and speak with individual representatives.

On Tuesday, our Sixth Form students enjoyed a virtual meeting with the Stanford Admissions Director who discussed the aspects which make the Stanford experience so unique, both academically and socially. We will continue to host talks by Admission Directors to keep our students informed about the wide range of opportunities offered at international universities, with McGill University visiting us after the half-term break.
