News Talk from the Directors of International Admission at Yale and Columbia 29.06.2023

On Monday, our Sixth Form students had the opportunity to attend a virtual lunchtime meeting with the Directors of International Admission at Yale University and Columbia University.

Mr Light and Ms Green talked about the depth and breadth of the liberal arts curriculum, the wide range of small-sized classes which are designed for engagement and discussion, as well as the intellectual exploration that goes far beyond the classroom. When explaining what it takes to build a strong application, they both emphasised the importance of the student’s voice and the willingness to think on one’s own.

We were also delighted to host the Admission Directors from Cornell University and Tufts University on our campus earlier this term, and we will continue to offer events to keep our students informed about the range of higher education options available to them.
