News Sofia Shines in Athletics Competition 29.06.2023

Congratulations to Year 9 student Sofia for her performance at the ESAA Regional Combined Athletics Championships last Saturday.

The Combined Athletics Championships Pentathlon saw participants tackle a 75m sprint hurdle, shot put, high jump, long jump and 800m sprint. Sofia, as part of her team, displayed exceptional skill and determination, resulting in a 4th place finish. On an individual level, Sofia earned a 15th-placed position overall and an impressive 2nd place among the talented athletes from London. Notably, she achieved a significant personal best of 1.50 meters in the high jump event, a remarkable achievement for an under-14 athlete.
