News Summer Jam 2023 23.06.2023

On Tuesday evening our talented student bands, duos, and soloists took the stage by storm, delivering a sensational showcase of rock and pop hits at our Summer Jam. Our Jam series has gone from strength to strength since its inaugural event last year, with the standard of performance and production value improving with each show. This was in no small part thanks to the generous funding from the PTFA which allowed us to purchase top quality guitar and bass amps to match an amp kindly bought for us by a Godolphin parent.

Demand to take part in these events is always high, and this term’s Jam featured new performers in addition to seasoned regulars across Years 7-10. It was wonderful to see a number of original songs written by students with live accompaniment. The concert also featured songs from an array of artists, from Arctic Monkeys to ABBA, The Beautiful South to Regina Spektor, with every electric performance testament to the raw talent and passion of our students.
