News Junior House Music Festival 2023 15.06.2023

On Tuesday around 50 girls from Years 7 to 9 took part in the Junior House Music Festival.

The initial heats were held during the day and were adjudicated by the Music department, with outstanding performances being sent through to the Grand Final. The judge for this was Mr Scott Price, Director of Music at Cardinal Vaughan Memorial School, who was highly complimentary about all of the performers. Congratulations to everyone who took part, and in particular runner-up Emily with her fantastic rendition of Chopin’s Grande Valse Brillante and to winner Isabel whose performance of the finale from Max Bruch’s violin concerto was breathtaking.
