News IB Group 4 Project 2023 19.05.2023

Earlier this week, Lower Sixth IB students took part in their Group 4 Project. 

Working in teams across the three scientific disciplines, the Lower Sixth devised and executed captivating practical lessons for our Year 8 students based on the theme of ‘Living on the Moon’. Their resourcefulness and originality shone through as they devised the sessions, prompting the Year 8 students to conduct experiments ranging from determining the most energy-rich foods for their extended lunar voyage to assessing the acidity levels of soil samples to identify optimal conditions for cultivating plants.

The Lower Sixth students showed fantastic levels of imagination, excellent teamwork and communication skills, as well as a sound grasp of Science. Year 8 really engaged in the activities, finding them both fascinating and enjoyable.
