News Spring Choral Concert 2023 10.03.2023

Last night‘s Spring Choral Concert saw 150 of our pupils performing in various vocal ensembles at St Paul’s Church, Hammersmith.

A packed audience heard music ranging from Herbert Howells to Tim Minchin, Gabriel Faure to Elton John. The concert concluded with the massed choirs, including parents and members of staff, and instrumental ensemble combining to perform John Rutter’s Requiem. Once all singers were arranged on stage, this was some feat in itself, the audience were treated to a feast of the very best music making that Godolphin can produce. Solos from Eleni Fraser and Maya Martin, instrumental solos from Josie Russell, Inez Karlsson and Mariella Brooke were quite breath-taking.

The applause at the end of the performance lasted for some time, testament to the fantastic musicianship of our students.
