News Year 11 Trip to Paris 03.11.2022

In the first week of half-term, 20 Year 11 students visited Paris to soak up some French culture and hone their linguistic skills.

With unseasonal warm weather, the trip was a real success with lessons in the mornings, cultural visits and a cinema outing in the afternoon. The highlight was most definitely a visit to the sumptuous Opéra Garnier where students were lucky to see some rehearsals for Listz’s Mayerling on stage. Students stayed in host families in very affluent parts of Paris where they experienced authentic French dinners and conversations with their hosts. Some students were even lucky to be treated to Paris by night tours and a VIP event at the Arts Décoratifs museum for a Schiaparelli exhibition.
