News New Build Foundations 14.10.2022

Our site building work has reached a very exciting milestone this week. Following the demolition of the old library and courtyard, whilst carefully preserving the facade of the cloisters, the concrete has now been poured in for the foundations of the new building which will house the dining extension and the renovated library with the space marked out for the new library garden.

Work will continue during the half-term break as the site developers prepare to start construction of the walls and columns for the ground floor of the new building. Things will look quite different when we return on Monday 31 October.
