News Thomasina in England’s National Summer Meet 15.09.2022

Congratulations to Thomasina, Year 10, who reached the final of Swim England’s National Summer Meet in Sheffield over the summer.

The National Summer Meet is Swim England’s biggest domestic swimming event of the year which forms part of a swimming competition structure in Great Britain whereby the top ranked swimmers in each event are invited to compete at the British Swimming Summer Championships. This was Thomasina’s third time competing nationally, and she went into the final with a sixth-place finish in the butterfly and fifth-place in the backstroke.

Sadly she missed out on a medal In the final, finishing fifth in the butterfly and ninth in the backstroke, but can be incredibly proud of her performance throughout the competition.
