News Guest Speaker: Captain Humphrey Madden 10.03.2022

We were delighted to welcome former British Army officer, Captain Humphrey Madden, who spoke to an audience of staff students about the Ukrainian conflict.

As a commissioned officer in The Rifles, Humphrey had previously served as part of NATO’s deployment in the Baltic States. In an insightful and enlightening talk, he covered many aspects of the current Ukrainian conflict, emphasising throughout the value of diplomacy over violence. A lively Q&A session followed, prompting an informative and wide-ranging discussion.
