News Autumn Concert 2021 19.11.2021

On Thursday evening the Bishop Centre played host to the best of school’s choirs and ensembles as the Autumn Concert returned to Godolphin.

Around 200 students took part in a programme which featured performances from many of our ensembles ranging from small chamber groups to full symphony orchestras. The repertoire on show was similarly varied: the concert opened with Year 7 Choir singing ‘Keep The Beat’ by Lin-Manuel Miranda, which was followed by Senior Chamber Orchestra’s performance of Mozart’s Overture to ‘The Magic Flute’. Special congratulations go to our student-led ensembles, including the Concert Band (conducted by Chelsea in the Upper Sixth) and The Octaves (our Sixth Form a cappella group who are self-directed).
